Event Description

This will be a terrific festival with more workshops, an exciting range of paint-out venues to explore and an eagerly-awaited exhibition with awards. You'll be painting Irish villages, thatched cottages, castles, fishing boats, green fields and street scenes. From 30th July to 7th August 2012.

Win an 8 day stay at the White Hotel (4Star) + breakfast for 2 http://www.whitesofwexford.ie , and entry fee paid, for this year's 5th Annual Art in the Open Plein Air Festival, being held in Wexford County, Ireland. You will have to pay for your meals and airfare to Ireland.

Submit up to 3 pieces for consideration.

media: oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, mixed media

theme: Any Song Title... Does not have to be an Irish song... maybe the Yellow Rose of Texas, or Fields of Glory, but have some green in the painting. Just sayin...tis a beautiful color!

To submit your work for this contest, go to the posting on the Forum Page. Write your name and the title, media and size of the painting and click on the Image icon above in the tool box to upload your painting image. Do this again if you have 2 or 3 entries to submit.

Contest will end on March 10th. Winner will be announced on March 17th... St. Patrick's Day
