Event Description

The Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association (The Art Center) presents the 34th Annual Arts in the Park Festival Memorial Day weekend. Located in beautiful Blue Ridge, Georgia, at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, this event draws approximately 15,000 people each Memorial Day weekend. This juried fine arts and crafts festival features more than 170 art, craft and food booths.
Make this a great Memorial Day weekend by sharing it with us in the North Georgia Mountains. Spend a few days and see our picturesque Lake Blue Ridge, hike part of the Appalachian Trail, take a mountain bike ride, kayak or tube the Toccoa River, fish our trophy trout streams, ride the Scenic Railway or see a play at our Community Theater. Our Downtown Blue Ridge scene boasts the finest art and antique stores in the Southeast. Take an Art Adventure in this beautiful mountain town.
The Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association (The Art Center), sponsor of the Arts in the Park Festival, is a non-profit arts council and will be celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2010. In addition to the Arts in the Park Festival, The Art Center, also, sponsors the Wildlife & Nature Art Festival & Expo, the Southern Appalachian Artist Guild national Juried Show, as well as many other venues focused on increasing the focus on Blue Ridge, Georgia, as a premier art town destination.
Arts in the Park occurs Each Memorial Day weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from 10 AM to 5 PM both days. Suggest admission is $5 for adults with children under 12 free. Download an artist application from our website or give us a call. Operating hours are Tuesday thru Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM. All applicants are juried.
