Event Description

This is an announcement to any painters who are close enough, that the VALLEY PAINTERS will finally be painting this coming Saturday, December 11th!

As you may or may not know, I had an idea back in August, to begin a Saturday painting group for painters in the area who would like to meet and paint in the St.Croix River Valley. No officers, no dues, no shows, no organization other than to make announcements when a painting date is happening.

It's been a busy Fall and Winter so far, so busy that this Saturday, December 11th is the first time that I've been able to announce a painting date and location.

If you're in the area and would like to join at least Me, and hopefully a few other painters, please do.

The link to Valley Painters, the blog created for the group, is the primary information source. If you elect to follow the blog you'll be sure to be kept up to date... be that as it may! And be sure to read the post 'Here's What I'm Say'in'... the manifesto written by painter Stuart Fullerton for the Chicago Plein Air Painters. It perfectly describes the way I see the Valley Painters existing.

I will have to pass, but I love remembering the fine work you did with our group from Cincinnati 3-4 years back.
