  How You Can Create that Wow! Factor in your Paintings - Plein-Air & S
 tudio\n\nIf you are like most artists, you’ve seen paintings that yo
 u have gone wow! that’s a great painting. How can we get that Wow! f
 actor in our paintings. Without first developing a good concept follow
 ed up with the application of sound principals and foundations, your s
 tudio efforts could be commonly unproductive. For the most part a grea
 t painting did not start at the easel, it began with a goal that the a
 rtist established for themself. Many times the beginner or novice arti
 sts does not put the effort in the initial creative process. We first 
 need to identify, what it is that makes a painting have that Wow! fact
 or?\n\nThis workshop will address and help to define the elements that
  the artist needs to consider in developing a great painting. Understa
 nding and developing all the creative skill sets and tools, gives the 
 artist a better opportunity to create that great work of art that is i
 nside you.\n\nTopics covered in this workshop:\nDefining the elements 
 of a great painting\nGallery visit\nCollecting of reference (proper us
 e of photography)\nConcept development\nDesign process\nStudio procedu
 res in translation of reference to canvas\nIdentifying the painting me
 thod\nCompletion of the painting\n\nThrough both lecture and demonstra
 tion, Kenn will show you his studio procedures in creating a painting.
  During this five-day workshop, Kenn will guide you in your developing
  process of creating your own paintings through individual attention. 
 This workshop will be conducted both outdoors and in a studio environm
