Let Marla guide you in learning how to capture mood, light, and emotion! Move beyond what you see and infuse your work with a more personal vision. Marla’s energetic workshops are an intensive mix of study, play and inspiration designed with both beginner and advanced students in mind. 

The first day will be a studio workshop at Northwestern Michigan College in which Marla will provide concepts and guidelines for the following 2 days spent on the beautiful Old Mission Peninsula. Paint on location and learn to capture the essence of your subject. Using the basics as a foundation, Marla will guide you in finding poetry in the landscape.
