Smith-Gilbert Gardens is proud to announce a new event for artists.  We are hosting our first juried art show!  The Gardens have enjoyed hosting plein air competitions for the past two years.  Now we want to give everyone more time to complete their pieces. 

We invite you to come to the Gardens to paint this spring.  As many of you already know, while there is always something in bloom at Smith-Gilbert Gardens, the Riot of Color begins here in late February/March and continues throughout the spring.  With over 3,000 plant species, we have many spring flowering trees and shrubs.  Our bulbs have already started to bloom and the rose garden is usually at its peak around Mother’s Day.
