Do you regard this as plein air?

An interesting point I would like to bring up.  I have attached 2 of my drawings that have been done at the end of the day after traveling to and from a painting destination.

As the drawings were done from memory of what I had seen and not from photos, also done while still in the field (In my camper)..

 

Does this clasify as plein air?

I am unsure and put it out there to you......

Something to think about - when we paint plein air, we look, we recall and we replicate to the canvas. I have done the same only it has taken the whole day swishing around in my head before I recall it to paper.

Not plein air, but the drawings are quite nice. From memory? You are to be commended!
