Quadra Island will host a paint out as part of the IPAP PaintOut. I just posted it as an event

Hey Jacq...

For my bit...here in the national forest of northern Wisconsin, my wife and I have formed some solid relationships with a core of artists...but of many talents. We get together once per week to eat together, play some music...(guitars and such), talk about ideas to build cultural experiences for the area...even write grants for the arts.

This summer we will experiment with some artist soirees...having access to a town's bandshell to set up and perform music, set up some exhibition tents of our art works. The town will even pay us to perform music...and we could do this once per week if we so chose.

About ten thousand tourists come thru everyday past our little soiree spot on route to vacation spots...

We are about two hours north from the larger population area of Green Bay...and have a good share of galleries in the northwoods.

I'll be doing a couple workshops this summer...but I leave for the Virgin Islands this Friday night...and have to work things around my calendar when I get back.

Nice to have our group noted here at 'Ning...

I had a wonderful tim this past September at the Quadra Island IPAP Paint Out - several of us came from the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island and it was GREAT!

Christmas Day at Noon 2009. Membership as a present to myself for 2010. I now look forward to the next WORLDWIDE Paint Out. I did paint in the 2008 event, but I don't know how I missed the 2009 paint out.

Don -- and others -- the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association in Blue Ridge, GA is a registered spot. I have also registered for painting in Blue Ridge for the event this year (2010). Join us. Blue Ridge, GA area and downtown are great and a beautiful place to paint!
