Down in Eastport, Maine for the Plein Air Painters of the Bay of Fundy paint-out. It poured rain! Painted from someone's veranda this afternoon, and even with the fog, the field to the bay was bright with yellow flowers and wild rocket. Very beautiful. Hoping for better weather tomorrow, but whatever will be, will be.

Evelyn, I think the sun line starts south of NH. It kept trying to break through and clear up here all day...Good luck at the paint out.  Hope you have better luck tomorrow! I've had luck painting under my station wagon hatchback if it isn't coming in sideways...

I hope I can crash the party here and be part of this group. It has been a long time since I have had the pleasure of painting in Maine, but I hope to get back soon. I did this one near Kennybunkport during my 1971 or 1972 trips there.

Donald ! This so funny - I live right near this spot you painted - its in the marshes near Parsons Beach in Kennebunk.  I live about 8 miles from here.  The cluster of trees are pretty much the same but the water channel has changed.  It changes every winter... Come up and paint with me !

I will... maybe next year late spring, like in June.
