Comment by Leon Holmes on May 7, 2011 at 6:19am Hello fellow artists :) Just introducing myself. I am a full time artist from Fremantle WA. I spend most of my painting time now days plein air and am always looking for someone to join me (just to have a little company is always nice :)
I paint all over Australia, having just returned from throwing the paint around in the Flinders Ranges... what an inspirational place!!! Didn't want to leave but I needed a good shower Haha :D
So I look forward to keeping an eye on this sight and maybe painting along side some of you in the future.
Happy painting
Leon
Comment by Hans Werner on May 7, 2011 at 8:40am Ah the Flinders ranges, also a favourite of mine, I go there most years, and again this year setting off in July, via Broken hill and then across to port Augusta finishing up in Maree painting every day, the purple colours of the mountain ranges get in to your blood...!

Comment by Hellen Chirino-Roosberg on January 8, 2013 at 3:38pm Dear Plein Air Australia,
We hereby invite all of your Plein Air artists to come to Curacao to participate in our Plein Air Curacao art festival from Feb 22 – March 2, 2013.
At www.PleinAirCuracao.com you will find the program and more information.
Attached you will find a tentative budget, accommodation info and all other info you need in order to participate.
We made sure the costs are kept to the bare minimum for the foreign artists.
Our organization is paying for most of the site-seeing and other local expenses. However, each participant must pay their own airfare. Hotel, food and transport are at special prices.
We are a non-profit organization for promoting Plein Air art and artists and keep this festival every other year.
Please advise how you would like to participate: actively (as professional painter or by taking or giving a course, or both) or inactively (by participating in the many events planned and benefitting from the special hotel prices etc.) for a great artsy vacation.
We look forward to hear from you at your earliest convenience,
Artsy regards and Bon Bini (welcome) to Curacao and to Plein Air Curacao,
Hellen Chirino-Roosberg
