This prismacolor pencil drawing was done in 2003, deep in the Grand Canyon Wildlife Preserve's North Rim. I camped for two nights in this forest with absolutly no services at all. At that elevation, I was struggling with lack of oxygen and this drawing took several hours as I waited for my coffee to heat up.
