In Texas, it is getting very hot much too soon. The challenge to paint in plein air requires getting up at daybreak & painting before 9:00 or waiting till after 6:00 when the heat lessens. I was privileged to be invited to an area known as Possum Kingdom Lake in early May for a plein air paint-out. "Spanish Daggers" and "The Cove at Possum Kingdom" are 2 of the results.
