This watercolor was done during my last painting trip to Yosemite in Jan. 1994, prior to moving from CA to GA later in that year. I originally moved to San Francisco from NJ in 1975 because of a plein air watercolorist I met while in Yosemite while on a week camping trip there while I was in the Navy in 1970. I wanted to live somewhere that I could go there on weekends to paint like she did. It remains one of my favorite locations.
