Dee - love this piece - the loose brushstrokes, the water is fabulous, and the palms are palms! The variations of white of the boats gives it depth. The manner in which you painted this piece gives it real energy. Catalina is on my bucket list to visit. I was close this summer - San Diego...

Hi Dee, I have been facinated with this place ever since the Plein Air Artists of America kicked off their first sales show there back in the nineties.  I still hope to paint there someday. Your painting is a beauty.
