2012 Las Vegas New Mexico Plein Aire Event So I do have to say , the competition was not that stiff, but , this painting took Best of Show...Plein Aire Member Tom Blazier of Abq.was the judge for this show......Good job Tom Blazier.

Well done Tom!!! I see you have painted on a pink ground.lovely...that yellow tree and the blue are very powerful! I feel a buzz coming from inside that brown and it goes up to the yellow tree...practice makes perfect.!!!!

Hi Georgina.....Of course I say, thanks.......Looking at your work, and your usually strong use of co;or, I have been pushing my color. and its been fun. A long time ago.almost , I think 18 years. I took a workshop from Scott Christensen, and what he said about practice makes perfect has always stayed with me, He said " practice makes perfect?? No. Perfect practice makes perfect!!! "" . Kinda makes sense .
