Bosque Road (acrylic, 24" by 24")

Depicted is a dirt road on top of a levee south of Albuquerque along the Rio Grande. The view is looking south with the early morning light coming from the left illuminating the leaves of the cottonwood tree yellow and the sandy soil of the road bright red and orange. The white bans along the road are last years tumbleweed and other annuals. The black structures to the left are power line towers and the small patch of blue is a glimpse of water in an irrigation canal.

Thanks, JoHanna.  This worked up fast.  Generally, for me things are ruined the more I work them.  So, I stopped.
