Cascades Lakes Reflection
In the Adirondacks, just south of Lake Placid and north of Keene is an amazing Cascade of lakes alongside Rte 73 as it weaves it's way through the mountains! The V shaped gorge is spectacular to paint with the reflecting mountains cascading down to the lakes! I had an incredible day of Plein Air Painting in a breathtakingly beautiful spot! If it wasn't for the black flies buzzing around my head...I'd say it was nearing perfection! :(

Lovely painting It Looks like an inspiring scene. You would probably like the Delaware Water Gap which has a similar mountain formation dropping to the Delaware River.
