PLEIN AIR ARTISTS

An Online Artist's Coop for Artists who Paint on Location

Cliff Shadows, Carnivan Beach

My first of three while painting with a few friends at this beautiful part of South Wexford on Sunday last. It was quite cool for mid-April, but looked a lot warmer than it was. Regardless, it was fantastic to paint plein air with such clear light.

A lovely piece! The suns reflections in this are fantastic!

Thanks Sharron. Living in Ireland, I don't get a chance to paint in bright sunlight very often, so when I do, I try to capture it!

A great color scheme Michael. I also like you handlihg of the intense bright light on the sea.

Very nice painting Michael. I wish I could have been there with you.

Thanks Don. It was a bright, sunny day, albeit a lot cooler than that lovely warm day at Hook Head last August!
