Painting this past May at a friend's property in Palenville, NY, in the beautiful Hudson River Valley...I chose this challenging waterfalls to paint in watercolor! It was such a sylvan scene, so peaceful, and the lighting was perfect when I started the painting...however, it wasn't long before I was quickly losing the light... so I completed this painting later on in my studio.
