Ok Cecile. I took your advise and deepened the red and some of the grass with a little violet. I think it tied it together. Looks better.

You are very skilled Spencer . Look at my paintings, they are certainly no better than yours. Was at a workshop recently and the artist said that our own work was the best teacher. I think he was right, learning to objectively look at my paintings and be willing to try something new is the only way to grow. I'm glad this worked out , you are no slouch by any means, trust yourself  and listen to your paintings I love your work.
