Fairfield National Bank - Past and Present

I was on location at 5:30 am to paint this picture. It captures a bit of Fairfield, IL history. The building on the far right is the new(er) Fairfield National Bank. The building in the background with the tower is the old Fairfield National Bank building built in the late 1800's (I think).
The fourth of July is a week away and the patriotic bunting decorates the old bank. The man standing under the bunting is a street preacher. Several times a month he and a friend will stand on the corner and preach the gospel to passers-by.

Wonderful Spencer. I like your handling of the architecture and the light. Maybe I should try getting up that early ?
