Fall Creek Park is part of Henry Cowell Redwood State Park in Felton, California. Bennett Creek runs clear year round and provides a mossy, green and shaded refuge from the summer heat. I hiked in with my cigar box pochade and did this small (5" x 5" painting of the creek recently. I love the simplicity of using a big brush on a small canvas - focuses the mind wonderfully.
