Plein-air still life 9 X 12 oil. I went out to paint at the Benson Center where I work and found this small bird whom had flown into one of the windows. It was lying in the leaves and I found some inspiration to paint it. I think partly because it demonstrated the fragility of life and how quickly we come and go.
