An Online Artist's Coop for Artists who Paint on Location

Forbidden Fruit

An apple tree bears a single ripe, juicy fruit just as I began this commissioned watercolor on location in Ironton, Missouri, courtesy the Shoemaker family. Oddly, the fruit was there just long enough for me to complete the painting and then, just as mysteriously, it disappeared. No one knows how or why. Original is in watercolor on Kilimanjaro all-rag CP 140 lb watercolor paper, 7 1/2" x 11", for sale unframed and available in print sizes up to 23" x 36" at: http://kip-devore.artistwebsites.com/featured/forbidden-fruit-kip-devore.html

Bet they are happy with this, the lovely dappling and apple make it so inviting.
