PLEIN AIR ARTISTS

An Online Artist's Coop for Artists who Paint on Location

From the Branches

40" x 30" acrylic
painted on location in Southwest
Washington State..."Branching Out" a forest canopy project working with National Geographic.
Painted from a small platform about 50" up in the trees. I had to use climbing gear to get myself and my painting equipment up into the trees.

Thanks...It was a unique experience. The tree and platform were swaying in the wind as I painted, and the canvas was so big it had to be lashed down with bungie cords.
