painted on location in Southwest
Washington State..."Branching Out" a forest canopy project working with National Geographic.
Painted from a small platform about 50" up in the trees. I had to use climbing gear to get myself and my painting equipment up into the trees.

this is soooooo cool. What a unique view. And, the painting is great too.

Thanks...It was a unique experience. The tree and platform were swaying in the wind as I painted, and the canvas was so big it had to be lashed down with bungie cords.
