The Cove is a small resort area at Possum Kingdom Lake, Texas. It was very close to wildfires that consumed the landscape in 2011. The distant ridge is an area that was devastated by the fires. The challenge was to beat the approaching rain & capture the fast moving cloud formations-not an ideal day for plein air, but interesting!
