Impending Snow

Pastel on Pastelmat, 11 x 14 in. Just as I was finishing up the sun broke through the heavy grey band of cloud, forming slits of brilliant rays of light. Unfortunately my fingers were numb and I had to pack it in. Shortly afterwords we got a dump of heavy snow so I did the right thing by going home.

You stayed long enough Darrel this is a beauty. You were able to convey that unusual and etheric quality in jewel like colors.
