Thank you, Leslie!  I'm always so happy to know that someone enjoys my artwork!  This was a tiny little piece, done on location at a really beautiful marsh.  I'm a big fan of the marshes here in Florida!

Ah!  Just a few weeks ago I painted near a sign that said "Beware of alligators, snakes, cats and possums!!!  It's always an adventure here!!!

I like that word "sublime"...hadn't thought of the paintings that way, but it's a nice word to use.

I'll be looking forward to seeing your work on here!!  

oh, and working next to snakes and alligators is sometimes just more foolish than brave! ;)

Ah,  a beautiful memory of the Arboretum. I too can so without snakes and alligators when painting outdoors.
