This one is top notch! Love everything about it.
Do you always spray matte varnish? I've never tried anything but gloss. What does the final product look like?

I have come to the conclusion the matte varnish works best for my work. The main reason is when I scan things the matte is the only thing that keeps the picture clear and colorful with no glare. When I use a final varnish I usually use Gamvar and add some cold wax medium into it for a satin finish. Since I use a lot of thin washes I need something that will unify the surface.

Very informative. I have never used cold wax medium either. You have opened my mind to other possibilities. I need to do some experiments.
