This was Jan. 20, about 15 degrees, a normal Michigan winter day. This spring, they will clear this area to build a subdivision.

Bob, love this piece, and sorry to hear it will be cleared for a subdivision. I can feel the cold air just looking at this - job well done! Also, I hate that we lose such wonderful scenery to paint, even though I know we must have subdivisions to house people.

Sometimes I feel like a historian, especially when you revisit places you painted and things have changed so much. So, for the record. . . . .paint on.....!

What a nice painting - just the kind of Michigan scenery I like. It seems such a waste to destroy a spot like this for yet another subdivision, when there is already a huge surplus of empty homes in Michigan that grows daily.
