Lots of Rocks..16x20

No story here........except that there were ten times the amount of rock........and I just suggested a fraction of them......and another beautiful sunny day..

Nice picture. Its difficult to simplify a pile of rocks into a picture. You did it. I like the warm tree against a cooler background.

Nice one Tom, great variation of greens and the overlapping structure give this a lot of dimension.

Thanks guys..........we are all painting pretty well these days......and the back and forth encouragement does us all a world of good. It sure puts fuel in my ....brushes........

I guess that word came to mind as my eyes happily skipped around each shape and color back and forward from background to foreground and foreground to background. It wasn't jarring or disjointed, but had a nice feel and pace.

I did a few pieces that I posted here from my first paint out I went to. Other then that, I have mainly been doing studio work. I just had my second solo show - very fun! I worked hard to prepare as many canvases as I could. Had 25 pieces in all. Hate the framing and hardware part, but it's such fun to see all your work in one room hanging on the walls. It's a year and a half worth of work and I can see so many changes from then till now. Thanks for asking!  I am enjoying your output. Your works read as joyful and one can tell you are having fun. You obviously are lucky enough to live near lots of beauty!
