An Online Artist's Coop for Artists who Paint on Location
This mornings little sketch. THe main station In Munich Painted from the bridge over the next stop on the line. 10x8 inch
Oil on board - painted pleinair
Albums: Munich and Europe Travels
This looks like an absolutely huge work! I can't believe it's only 10 x 8"!! All the tension and sense of movement is wonderful! A very exciting piece!
Thanks Sharron, It was a scene I have seen walking past a few times in the last weeks and I thought it could be interesting to tackle it. I like my Nature landscapes more but the light on the skyline grabed my attemntion. I'm still lookingfor a good vantage point overlooking this city :)
Fabulous. Do you know Nikolai Kraneis in Berlin? He is on this site. He came and painted with me last year for our Plein Air Artist Retreat. I think the video should be on this site. I'll have to repost it if it isn't.
Lovely! The tracks and trains lend themselves well to directing the eye, really well done
Thanks guys, I don't know Nikolai but I will look him up. Cheers :)
i like the way to do the back buildings...so difficult to just suggest!
This was my main goal for the morning. to paint the distant buildings. but without the forgroud they have little interest ;)
