An Online Artist's Coop for Artists who Paint on Location
Comment by Sharron Boxenbaum on March 24, 2012 at 8:58am This looks like an absolutely huge work! I can't believe it's only 10 x 8"!! All the tension and sense of movement is wonderful! A very exciting piece!
Comment by Leon Holmes on March 24, 2012 at 9:05am Thanks Sharron, It was a scene I have seen walking past a few times in the last weeks and I thought it could be interesting to tackle it. I like my Nature landscapes more but the light on the skyline grabed my attemntion. I'm still lookingfor a good vantage point overlooking this city :)
Comment by Lynne Haines on March 24, 2012 at 10:09pm Fabulous. Do you know Nikolai Kraneis in Berlin? He is on this site. He came and painted with me last year for our Plein Air Artist Retreat. I think the video should be on this site. I'll have to repost it if it isn't.
Comment by Cecile Hines on March 25, 2012 at 8:58am Lovely! The tracks and trains lend themselves well to directing the eye, really well done
