This is a winner!!! Love the way the shadows direct the eye to the center of interest ,the color of just slightly pink shows the blood is coming back to the trees. Love it.

Very nice Donna.  Love the shadows too. With the warm weather we're having I imagine the sap is running quite well.

Hey, are you a Canuck?  I am.  This makes me think of Quebec and one of my favorite food groups - maple syrup!  Very nicely done.

I think you may be surprised that this was in Medora Indiana during the National Maple Syrup Festival. They host it every year at Maplewood Farms there.  I for one was very surprised but pleased to attend it for the first time this year. They had re-enactors cooking syrup and other things containing.  Had a lot of fun.
