Do I have stories involving the Merced river. I love it. One is about Ansel Adams and the another is about me swimming into a bear crossing the river. I surely miss it there.

I loved the Yosemite area, and would loved to have met Ansel Adams. California has some real beauty...Arizona, in the high mountains where I am, is also pretty neat...and you wouldn't have had to swim into a bear to find one...I had one on my porch last night. Let me know if you ever wander this way.
