My lord  David these are beautiful!! ! I really love Monument Valley, have flown into their airport (not with a patient, although Gallup Med Flight did pick up patients in the reservation hospitals) Think the road out of there was used in the Forest Gump movie when he is running.

Thanks Cecile . After attending the Plein Air congress in Las Vegas my wife and I toured around several National Parks in the region . We were absolutely overwhelmed by the beauty and magnitude of your amazing country . Naturally I produced a few pastels as my private record of our trip to the USA

Am so glad you could see it. My husband and I just moved from Santa Fe to Pensacola( Florida) on the Gulf of Mexico. Did you get to see the Grand Canyon? It was so overwhelming didn't even attempt to paint it. Think you have to be there long enough to take it in and make sense of it somehow. Don Maier did some beautiful watercolors from there.
