This work represents a composite of four drawings of my Milton, Delaware studio garden. As each drawing was done, the panel was rotated ninety degrees for each subsequent drawing. Forms and shapes suggested by the overlapping lines were painted in, resulting in the completed work. The title is a pun on Nome, Alaska and a gnome painting.
