I'm under my oak again and looking elsewhere. The technique I'm using here is a scratch through layers of wet acrylic over a canvas toned with a medium gray. I use a wooden coffee stirrer sharpened at one end to apply color and scrape through.

Even though, I take my art very seriously I do hope that a sense of play and experimentation comes out in my work because I am on an adventure after all.
