Yes!  I like this.  Odd size, interesting treatment.  Well done!  I paint pine trees too.  My husband calls them the "palm trees" of this area.  They are indigenous here, like palms in Florida.  I love their form, their smell and the sound the wind makes when it sighs through them.  Nice work.  Come and paint a few with me this fall.  You would love this area.  Check out the PAAR 2012 event in September at my lake place on Lake Roosevelt.  Only $99 and you get to paint with other great artists.  Hope to paint a pine or two with ya!

My Dad used to call those evergreens  with all the broken off lower limbs, lion's tails.
