My favorite of all your new stuff - but it's hard to pick just one. Great work.

Thanks Thomas

........yes its an unusual shape and I tend to look for odd shapes in the landscape the more different the better

.An interesting shape  usually makes a painting I tend to think.

I left out plenty of the  detail and just tried to suggest the form   ......rather than state and define things.

Thanks for your comment ... its always great to have a painter  with the same passion notice ones efforts

 All the best ,David

Thanks Ed ....... Port Hedland is a mining boom town where the bulk of Australias iron ore is shipped from .. so there is heaps  of red dust everywhere and its easy to put plenty of warm colours into a painting ..warm paintings are usually more popular in my experience. Thanks again .......I loved the SW of the USA for the same reason.

I agree with Tom, it looks like this was fun to do. For you. I'd have been pulling my hair out. Well done.

I just decided to keep a complex machine very simple and try to suggest its essence. thanks Debra.
