Wow! The two trees add so much in scale and orientation.

Thanks Cecile I couldn't believe seeing so many trees appearing to grow out of rocks in your country

Opps just deleted my post..........anyway as I just was saying.......I have climbed here afew times, and this piece really captures the feeling of standing at the bottom ofone of these giant sandstone outcrops.  Trying to eye the route to be climbed, looking fo the bolt line and getting ready for another adventure..........WellDone !!

We don't have Cantons like yours in Australia I was blown away by the landscape in Arizona Nevada and Utah

I've really enjoyed looking at all your western views David—most of us from the U.S. never get out to see as much as you have.

Thanks  Ed.... its a pity you don't get there much because your scenery out west is full of shapes with plenty of warm colours to make a happy picture ... I was totally  wrapped and drew  these pastels in an hour or so while my wife waited patiently in the car... she let me do a couple a day for 3 weeks  .....D
