Knowing a little botany is a good thing here in GA, both northern and southern species are abundant. The greens get a work out.

Yes. I was there for 1 year before I transferred to Cooper Union in NYC.  The professors I had were Pat Bellengillen (sp?) Dorothy Yanik and good old Herb Olds!

Herb Olds - that man was a marvel! One of very few great teachers I ever had there. Good idea getting out. I would have been much better off with more formal, classical training. Back then(1977!) I never knew about it. But the university experience was not all bad.

He was a phenomenal Draftsman!  There wasn't any classical training back in those days unfortunately.  There is now however.
