An Online Artist's Coop for Artists who Paint on Location

Stephens Green, Dublin

Needs no explaination, if you are a Dubliner. For centuries, the citizens of Dublin have promenaded up Grafton Street to "The Green" for a walk, a read of a good book on a park bench, or a chat.

You are an excellent draftsman. Such a nice atmosphere to this drawing. Interesting; how you worked the sky as well.

Thank for your comment, Jennifer. This is old work from "way back" and, these days, while still trying to capitalize on the drawing skills as a really good base for art, I am struggling to aquire oil painting skills to match! In many ways, I have abandoned styles of the earlier years to try to start again and put bad habits benind me. This is difficult, but I enjoy the process. Look at mylesmurphyartist.com, when you have the time.
