I first draw it carefully in pencil .....usually sitting on a stool in front of the subject . Then use a big brush for the large areas tilting the page where necessary and avoiding touching the wet area again till completely dry ..... edges are kept soft by having the paper slightly damp. To achieve harmony I use very few colours. I try to make the finished painting seem wet by doing it quickly with the least number of strokes. I used a masking fluid to begin with for the highlights and put the darks on last. Its not all that difficult if you follow this procedure.
