Spent a week in Taos, NM at a C.W. Mundy still life workshop. Took two days afterwards for plein air painting in the area. Georgia O'Keefe was fond of the San Francisco de Asis Mission Church. I had a difficult time finding it, but am so glad I didn't give up.

I agree with Sharron, love the subtle shadows, (I must try this my shadows are bad!) am enjoying the detailing light and dark in the top towers. I can feel the weight of the church too and the contrast between the heavy church and the light trees and far away door, the exit..for the eyes.
