Thanks Cecile, Don did about 6 while I was still working on my first. His lawn opens up at the bottom of his property and he has a small stream that runs through it. Also his neighbor collects old motor boats so there is a lot to paint. This works I think because of the three trees staggered and the four different openings with the boat pointing at the most important detail.

True and the purple /yellow green heightens the interest.

A great piece. I did not see this when you were there. Remember you dumped this into the grass while wet? Nice job.

Nice loose painting style Ed.  I also like the blue shadow of the trees as a compliment to the pink building.
