12 x 8 oil. What I like about nocturnes is that all the mixing goes on in your head as you can usually only see values with low light. You need to rely on what you remember. The perspective of the window is off a bit... but I liked the atmosphere anyway.

Now that the evenings have grown short here in Ireland, Nocturnes are on the agenda again!!..This painting is giving me the courage to brave the cold nights again!! Thanks for posting Mike :)

Nice composition Mike. this painting is now pushed way down the line, but it is still a treat to look at.
