Three Forks Park sketch

9X12 Acrylic on canvas panel. Tues our Cle Elum group painted with the EAFA plein air group at Three Forks Park. Light sprinkes finally turned into light rain. This is my sketch which I was not able to finish with acrylics in the rain. Good group to paint with.

It's finished as it is - beautiful.  Great color, even better brushwork.  June its perfect just the way it is.  Loose, elegant, has a cool feeling to it.  I love it.

This is such a beautiful painting. Your work is so honest and interesting. You have one of my favorite palettes as well, I just love looking at your work.

Thanks Lynne,

The EAFA painters are a committed and enthusiastic group. When the light rain began, out came the umbrellas with hardly a pause in a brushstroke. Though if you live on the west side umbrellas are for rain as much as sun.

Rachel, thank you for the nice comments on this one.
