Thanks, Sharron and Cecile. This is on the west side of Mt. Desert Island. A nice place to park the car and work without too much distraction. This is sort of a companion piece to Tremont since all I had to do was move my easel to the left. So much material for paintings up here during the right season. Probably not a fun place to live in the winter,though.

Really simply well done piece of Maine.  One of my favorite painting places that can overwhelm you with green.

you are right about the green and sometimes it can be overwhelming. The constant challenge is the balance with

the variations within the mass of green and any complements to play around with.

 I will be up in Maine this year painting in Mt. Desert Island the first week in June. I'll be staying in Southwest Harbor.
