Libbey Griffith said… Well, I lived on the Canyon Road- it was 20-some years ago and there used to be a gate to get into the canyon - still? On the map, I see Ugly Circle and I think it was about 2 houses from there- an adobe. I could walk past some Brahman cattle to Lake Piru along the firetruck road. I was a chauffeur and companion for an elderly lady- Zita Lechler McKeen. The landscape of course has stuck in my mind. The name Val Verde is familiar - I picture fields of onions... Likely has built up quite a bit. Thanks for friending me!
